CALL FOR SUBMISSION OF TENDERS Construction Works for the Gender-Based Violence Shelter in South Mitrovica

Community Building Mitrovica (CBM) is a non-governmental organization working to promote sustainable development, social inclusion, and community resilience in Mitrovica and surrounding areas. Through its programs, CBM aims to improve living conditions and support vulnerable groups by implementing infrastructure, social, and capacity-building initiatives. In cooperation with the United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK), CBM is implementing a project focused on strengthening support services for survivors of gender-based violence.

Within this framework, CBM invites qualified and experienced contractors to submit tenders for the execution of works related to the improvement of the Gender Based Violence Shelter in South Mitrovica. The project includes the construction of a perimeter fence, installation of a main entrance door, and furnishing of the kitchen with cabinets, electrical appliances, and basic dining equipment, as further detailed in the Tender Dossier.

The procedure is open to all eligible companies that can demonstrate adequate financial, technical, and professional capacity. Tenderers are expected to have proven experience in similar construction works, sufficient qualified personnel, and a sound understanding of the local context. In addition, tenderers must hold a valid Kosovo tax registration and comply with all requirements set out in the tender documentation.

A mandatory site visit will take place on 24 April 2026 at 13:00, at the premises of Community Building Mitrovica at Avni Shabani 7, 40000 Mitrovica. Attendance is required for participation in the tender procedure, and only one authorized representative per company may attend. The purpose of the visit is to familiarize tenderers with the site conditions and to provide clarifications prior to submission of offers.

The complete Tender Dossier is available upon request from CBM via email at procurement@cbmitrovica.org or can be collected in person at the CBM office. Any requests for clarification regarding the tender dossier must be submitted in writing no later than 30 April 2026, and responses will be shared with all interested tenderers to ensure transparency.

Tenders must be prepared in accordance with the instructions provided in the dossier and submitted in sealed envelopes, including one original and two copies. Bids must be delivered by registered post or by hand to the following address:

The deadline for submission of tenders is 4 May 2026 at 15:30 hours. Late submissions will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. Tender opening will take place on 5 May 2026 at 10:00 hours at the CBM office, and tenderers may attend through their authorized representatives.

Tenderers should note that all costs related to the preparation and submission of tenders, including participation in the site visit, are to be borne by the tenderer. Community Building Mitrovica reserves the right to accept or reject any tender, as well as to cancel or annul the procurement procedure at any stage, without incurring any obligation towards participating tenderers.
