O RCT-u

Program Pomirenje i transformacija konflikta (RCT) je podržan američkog naroda putem Američke agencije za međunarodni razvoj (USAID) na Kosovu i sprovode ga u partnerstvu Community Building Mitrovica (CBM), Nova društvena inicijativa (NSI) i Inicijativa mladih za ljudska prava Kosovo (YIHR KS).

RCT je petogodišnja aktivnost koja će se baviti trenutnim problemima na kojima je potrebno raditi kako bi se postiglo pomirenje između različitih etničkih grupa na Kosovu na individualnom, institucionalnom, ali i nivou zajednica. Težićemo da to postignemo stvaranjem lične i kolektivne svesti o potrebi promene načina na koji razumemo jedni druge, usredsređivanjem na zajedničke vrednosti i pristupe i unapređivanjem onoga što je sada suživot u budućnost koju održava potpuna društvena kohezija.

Transformacija konflikta i pomirenje različitih zajednica na Kosovu je ambiciozan cilj za petogodišnji period, ali on je ostvariv uz saradnju sa organizacijama koje će RCT podržati a koje će biti u prilici da nastave da rade na svojim dosadašnjim uspesima, nadograđujući prethodni rad u oblasti izgradnje mira, podrške zajednici i zagovaranja kreatora politika.

Aferdita Sylaj Shehu
CEO
Ms. Aferdita Sylaj Shehu is an accomplished leader with more than 20 years of experience in civil society and peacebuilding. As Executive Director of CBM, she has led impactful projects in northern Kosovo, focusing on community development. A strong advocate for peaceful coexistence, Ms. Sylaj Shehu works especially to improve the lives of citizens of different ethnic background. In 2011, she was nominated as a Peace Ambassador by the International Peace Federation.

Nemanja Nestorović
Deputy Executive Director
Nemanja Nestorović is a dedicated leader with a strong history of advancing civil society and promoting regional cooperation. With over 20 years of experience in NGO management, finance, banking, and administration, Nemanja has been one of the key figures in CBM’s growth, contributing to the successful implementation of more than 50 projects in Mitrovica and the region. A proud Mitrovican, Nemanja is committed to fostering strategic partnerships, securing resources, and uniting communities through direct, people-to-people initiatives.

Milivoje Raičević
Program Manager
Milivoje Raičević, a Fulbright Scholar, earned his Master’s degree in Public Administration from Binghamton University, New York. Beginning his societal engagement as a high school volunteer, he now serves as a Program Manager at Community Building Mitrovica in Kosovo, where he leads initiatives promoting cross-cultural understanding between Albanian and Serbian communities and fostering civic engagement to strengthen citizen-institution dialogue.

Kushtrim Gjoshaj
Program & Development Manager
Kushtrim Gjoshaj holds a bachelor’s degree in Management and Public Policy from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Since joining Community Building Mitrovica (CBM) in 2019, he has led the design, development, and implementation of CBM's programs, bringing extensive experience in the fields of prevention of violent extremism and rehabilitation and reintegration processes. At the organizational level, Kushtrim plays a key role in strategic decision-making as part of CBM's middle management. He is responsible for developing and applying monitoring, evaluation, and learning tools for CBM's operations and programs. Additionally, he supports the organization in fundraising, donor and partner relations, and networking initiatives.
Alma Murati
Administration and Finance Officer
Alma Murati In the role of Administration and Finance Officer, manages a comprehensive range of administrative and financial responsibilities, ensuring the smooth operation of Community Building Mitrovica’s (CBM) projects. Key tasks include overseeing procurement processes and managing HR and logistics. Regular responsibilities involve producing income and expenditure reports, preparing monthly financial statements, and assisting with external audits to ensure transparency. Additionally, Alma supports CBM staff meetings by providing updates on individual and project finances and developing work plans to facilitate structured team collaboration.
Diellza Haziri
Program Coordinator
Diellza Haziri as Program Coordinator at CBM, plays a key role in ensuring the effective coordination, quality, and consistency of program operations. She is responsible for overseeing the implementation of program activities and managing the workflow between program staff and external partners. Diellza is currently pursuing a degree in Public Administration at the International Business College in Mitrovica. She has gained valuable experience through her involvement in various youth projects within the Mitrovica region.
Arbnora Sadiku
Program Assistant
Arbnora Sadiku serves as CBM’s Program Assistant for the Resilient and Inclusive Community Program, bringing invaluable support to both the program and CBM’s finance and administration team. With nearly five years as a dedicated member of the CBM family, Arbnora holds a law degree from the University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini.”
